Client Agreement

1. Nature of Sessions

I understand that Sexological Bodywork / Somatic Sex Education is an educational service, not therapy, medical treatment, or sex work. Sessions are designed to support my learning, growth and embodied awareness around sexuality, pleasure and intimacy.

The practitioner does not diagnose, treat or prevent any medical or psychological condition.

2. Informed Consent & Touch

I understand that sessions may include consensual touch for educational purposes, which may include:

• Non-genital bodywork
• Genital touch (if agreed and appropriate for my learning goals)
• Coaching and guidance through somatic practices

All touch:

• Is agreed verbally before it occurs
• Is one-way only (practitioner to client)
• Is solely for my educational benefit and learning
• Can be paused or stopped at any time at my request

I understand that consent is ongoing and I have the right to change my mind or adjust boundaries at any point during a session.

3. Nudity & Boundaries

I understand and consent to:

• Removing clothing (partially or fully) if appropriate for my session and learning goals
• The practitioner remaining clothed at all times during one-to-one sessions
• Touch remaining unidirectional (practitioner to client only)

The practitioner will never:

• Become naked during one-to-one sessions
• Receive touch from me during sessions
• Engage in mutual or reciprocal touch of a sexual nature

4. Professional Boundaries

I understand that:

• The practitioner-client relationship is professional and educational only
• No romantic or sexual relationship will develop between myself and the practitioner during our work together or for a minimum of one year after sessions end
• The practitioner holds an inherent power dynamic in their role and will not exploit this
• Sessions are not a substitute for intimate relationships outside of this educational context

5. Health & Safety

I understand that:

• The practitioner uses medical-grade gloves for any touch involving bodily fluids or genital/anal contact
• Quality lubricants and appropriate hygiene protocols are maintained
• I am responsible for disclosing any health conditions, injuries or concerns that may affect my session

I confirm that I am not currently experiencing any medical or psychological condition that would make this work inappropriate or unsafe for me.

6. Confidentiality

I understand that all information shared in sessions is confidential, except:

• When required by law or court order
• If the practitioner has duty of care concerns for my safety or the safety of others
• For professional supervision purposes (with my identifying information protected)

7. Right to Terminate

I understand that either myself or the practitioner may terminate our professional relationship at any time. If the practitioner terminates, appropriate referrals and support will be provided.

8. Scope of Practice

I understand that this work falls within the scope of Sexological Bodywork and Somatic Sex Education as defined by the Association of Certified Sexological Bodyworkers (ACSB). The practitioner adheres to the ACSB Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.

9. Recordings

I understand that no audio or video recording of sessions will occur without my informed, dated and signed consent, with clear explanation of intended use.

10. Complaints & Concerns

I understand that if I have concerns about the practitioner's conduct or ethical practice, I can:

• Raise these directly with the practitioner
• Contact the ACSB Grievance Council if needed
